Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH) has won an award for ‘Most Effective Partnership’ with the National Federation of ALMOs (NFA). Amongst the more negative headlines on the public sector spending cuts that have been hitting in the last couple of years, Housing Associations were given some good news last year as the Affordable Homes Programme announced its aim to increase the amount of affordable homes in the UK between 2011 and 2015. The Programme will be investing £4.5bn in new properties for affordable rent or ownership in the period.
